The EcoFlow backpack for the River 2 series has two large, separate main compartments. The lower compartment is padded for the Power Station. Here fits the whole River 2 Series up to the River 2 Pro (upright). Other stuff or accessories fit in the upper compartment. Furthermore, there is a laptop compartment on the side (17" should fit) and two small, low side pockets, with stretch insert. These are unfortunately not suitable for bottles
The fabric used seems neat and seems to offer good protection against rain. Whether the seams are sealed or not, I could not determine, but don't assume so.
The zippers have a sealing rubber and are therefore at least splash-proof. The puller on the slider is valuable with EcoFlow lettering. I don't like the vertical zipper on the lower main compartment, though, because it doesn't have a rubber seal on the inside and could scartch the surface of the Power Station.
The padded shoulder straps do not cut into the side of the neck even with broad shoulders, but are unfortunately inside lined with a crackling material, which somewhat dulls the otherwise quality impression. A sternum strap is present and horizontally adjustable to the chest width. However, it is not height-adjustable or completely removable.
The buckles or click closures have a rubber-like coating. This type of coating, in my experience, often comes off over time and becomes sticky. I hope that is not the case here.
Overall, I think the price / performance ratio is quite okay and the backpack much more practical than the bags of the previous series.
4 stars. One star deduction for the vertical zipper on the lower main compartment and for the crackle filling of the shoulder straps
